Rocío Fernández Ordás: expert in archaeology, with a solid academic background (bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Letters with a specialization in Archaeology and History; and a doctorate in Ancient World Studies). In addition, she has developed an extensive career in research and cultural heritage management in both the public and private sectors, participating in numerous archaeological, environmental, and urban planning projects, publications, and conferences. Currently, she has independent experience in archaeology and cultural heritage management and conservation.
We are in the process of restoring and transforming the Convent of María Auxiliador. Our goal is to open it to the public in the near future, creating a unique space for events and stays that combines the charm of the old rural world.
It is a lodge where art and history come to life: a renovated former convent, now a unique space for events, celebrations, and relaxation; a living art and antiques gallery in an active rural setting, offering a novel experience. The restoration has been carried out in a sustainable manner, respecting traditional construction techniques and integrating carefully selected elements into the contemporary interior design that add character and warmth to the spaces, where each object has its own history and can be purchased at the end of your stay.
